HunaUhuna

By creating an account or using HunaUhuna in any way, you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy in full. If you do not agree, do not use the app. HunaUhuna is operated by Rashmikanth G R, a sole proprietor operating under Panda Digital Lab, registered at Gandralli, Kammachi Post, Hosanagara Sub-District, Shivamogga District, Karnataka – 577436, India ("we", "us", "the Company"), and these terms form a binding legal agreement between you and the Company.
You must be at least 18 to use HunaUhuna, and you must give us your real date of birth. Accounts belonging to minors are removed. By creating an account you represent that everything you tell us about your age and identity is true.
HunaUhuna includes AI companion profiles: virtual characters generated by software, not real people.
Messaging an AI companion may cost Stars, and the price is shown before you send.
Stars are a virtual currency used inside HunaUhuna, for example to message someone you have not matched with, or to boost your profile. Premium is an optional recurring subscription that unlocks additional features.
We may remove content, suspend or permanently terminate accounts that break these rules, and we may do so without prior notice where the safety of others requires it. HunaUhuna has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form — see our Child Safety Standards for how this is enforced and reported.
We screen photos automatically and act on reports, but we do not conduct criminal background checks on users. We cannot guarantee that anyone is who they claim to be, that anything in a profile is accurate, or that any user's conduct — on the app or off it — will be lawful or safe.
Meeting people from the internet carries risk that is inherent to the activity, not created by us. If you choose to communicate with, meet, or form any relationship with another user, that choice and everything that follows from it is your own responsibility. Meet in public, tell someone where you are going, arrange your own transport, verify who you are meeting to your own satisfaction, and never send money to anyone you have met on the app. Every profile and conversation has a report and block option; please use it.
Your photos and words stay yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display them for the purpose of operating the service. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must retain for safety or legal reasons. You are solely responsible for the content you post and for having every right needed to post it.
We aim to keep HunaUhuna running but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or continuous service. Features may change, be withdrawn, or be unavailable without notice, and we are not liable for any consequence of downtime or a withdrawn feature.
HunaUhuna is a platform that lets you discover and communicate with other users. We do not select who you match with beyond the preferences you set, do not vet users beyond the checks described in our Privacy Policy, and are not a party to, and have no control over, any interaction, conversation, arrangement or meeting between users.
By using the app you acknowledge and accept, to the fullest extent the law allows, that:
You agree to indemnify and hold the Company, its officers, employees and agents harmless from any claim, loss, liability, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: your breach of these terms; your content; your interactions with another user or AI companion, on the app or off it; or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
The app and everything in it — including AI companion replies, other users' profiles, and any Premium feature — is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or that any user or piece of content you encounter is genuine or accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for the conduct — online or in person — of any user or third party, or for any loss arising from your reliance on anything an AI companion says. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
The app relies on third-party services to operate, including Supabase (hosting, authentication, storage), Anthropic, OpenRouter and/or NVIDIA (AI companion replies), Sightengine (photo moderation), Razorpay (web payments) and Google Play / Apple App Store (in-app purchases and distribution). We are not responsible for outages, errors or policy changes on the part of these providers, and your use of payment services is also subject to that provider's own terms.
You may stop using HunaUhuna and delete your account at any time — in Settings, or without installing the app at /delete-account.html. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms, put another user at risk, or exposed us to legal liability. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including responsibility for past conduct, indemnification, and limitation of liability — do survive it.
We would rather resolve a problem directly — contact us first using the details in section 21. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement, seated in Shivamogga, Karnataka, in English. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court where the law allows it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and, subject to section 16, the courts at Shivamogga, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use HunaUhuna after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the app, and supersede any earlier agreement on the same subject.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the name and contact details of the Grievance Officer are published in our Privacy Policy.
